More than human - Theodore Sturgeon 5/5
The Rediscovery of Man - Cordwainer Smith 5/5
Man Plus - Frederik Pohl 4/5
Queen of Angels - Greg Bear 4/5
Watchmen - Alan Moore 4/5
Lord of Light - Roger Zelazny 3/5
Non-stop - Brian Aldis 3/5
Skinema - Chris Neiratko - 4/5 (I stole a shitload of Chris' jokes for use as bar chatter; see below)
Six not so easy pieces - Richard Feynman 5/5
Travels with my aunt - Graham Greene 4/5
The Holographic Universe - Leonard Susskind - too high level, although the event horizon feynman diagrams and the stuff about virtual particle pairs and the second law of thermodynamics being responsible for hawking radiation is interesting.
The Notenki Memoirs : Studio Gainax- Yasuhiro Takeda
The Father Thing - PK Dick short stories (Upon the Dull Earth short story 5/5)
The Age of Turbulence - Alan Greenspan 4/5 (alternately boring as shit and totally engrossing)
